We are in Indianapolis for Jane's track nationals (look for a post on that later) so we took the opportunity to go see The Brickyard.
I was always glued to the TV watching the Indy 500 growing up, pretty much watched all the IndyCar races as well as F1 and Nascar. Anything that went fast I liked to watch. So it was really cool to see the cars I watched, driven by the drivers I cheered for sitting in the museum at Indy.
Cars and exhibits from the newest winner to the vintage years of racing, including a mock garage space.
And the newest....this years winner of the 500 and Brickyard 400
And of course there is F1 history in this track as well
Of course no trip to Indy would be complete without going for a lap of the track, only in a bus though. Did get the privilege to kiss the bricks though so it was worth it.
